We refer to you as Lebanon

Have mercy on you, O people of Beirut

Every second is deposited in a coffin

Its streets are shouting and calling

It does not matter who was the one

Do you understand my divorce and triggering off?

Those are signs of atheism

Is there no guide among you?

The time of its printing presses is over

Azrael to the spirits wrestle with her

A rocket lying on the ground

The wailing softened her bed

We invite you, Lord, to have mercy on her

She did not find anyone mercy

We lost it, exhausted and destroyed it

A son’s crime is the greatest of it

He shed blood and slapped her
