Kuwaiti medical delegation arrives in Gaza

A team of doctors from Kuwait arrived in the Gaza Strip on Saturday after entering through the Rafah crossing with Egypt, the Ministry of Interior said in a statement.\nThe border crossings department of the ministry said the Kuwaiti delegation consisted of 14 doctors who came to offer medical treatment to Palestinians who were injured during Israel's assault on Gaza in July and August.\nThe Gaza-based al-Rahmah Society for Relief and Development welcomed the delegation, and officials from the group said the doctors would be sent to several hospitals across Gaza.\nIsrael's military campaign on the Strip left over 2,100 Palestinians dead and over 11,000 injured.
